# Health Apps Growth

Between 2017 and 2027, mobile fitness apps were the highest-grossing sub-category among health and fitness apps. generating approximately 15.5 billion U.S. dollars in global revenues in 2022. Meditation apps followed, with revenues of 3.71 billion U.S. dollars from users worldwide in the same year. By the end of 2027, nutrition apps are projected to overtake mobile meditation apps as the second most popular commercial health app category among global users.
